Great Napes Sphinx Rock

My latest picture below, taken July 2007 Great Napes, Wasdale Valley

The Sphinx, a number of visits was required to get the view & up most the weather conditions correct for a perfect picture, I've finally done it, taken that definitive snap shot. First seen on a post card in Ambleside a few years ago, it inspired me on to find it's location, and take that shot.

Considering it's remote location, high on the cliffs it's not for the faint hearted to track it down.
