Past Off Roaders

My first Land Rover a Defender 90 hard top, 2.5 Diesel turbo gave me the bug for off road driving. Shortly after purchased I joined the Midland off road Club which gave me even more insight to what Land Rovers can really do. Had this Landy for about four years, traveled all over Cumbria, Wales and many more off roading events in all weathers.

My second Land Rover a Defender 90, 3ooTDi Diesel county was such a pleasure to drive much more power than my previous motor, this was my pride and joy, in blue my favorite color. This was not to be for long in fact one month only, it was stolen off my drive 4.00am one bank holiday Monday, this has been a mental scare that has never healed. I never even got it dirty, never mind, I hope they rot in hell, of course the people who stole it as you can tell after two years still not over it.

My third Land Rover above a Drew Bowlor competitive off roader, built on a 88 inch chassis series one Rover registered in 1961 believe it or not, mostly rebuilt to incorporate roll cage. A 3500cc V8, LT130 5 speed gear box fitted, top motor loads of power and torque a pleasure to drive, kept for about 12 months and sold on, very sad day, at the moment driving a Cavalier, life is just not the same. I hope one day I will drive a Land Rover again.

My Forth Land Rover Defender 90, 2ooTDi Diesel brought about eight months ago it's a tidy little landy. Already got it dirty on a number of club events, trails and fun days, it's been to long without a Land Rover.
